Duties and Responsibilities
  • Clinic Operations & Performance: Lead all day-to-day and long-term operations of the Faculty Practice Clinic
  • Identify and remove bottlenecks in scheduling, patient flow, and provider utilization
  • Drive measurable improvements in clinic productivity, access, and patient satisfaction
  • Financial Management: Own the clinic’s operating budget, revenue cycle performance, and financial outcomes; Oversee billing, collections, and payer mix optimization; Identify and implement strategies to improve revenue and cost efficiency
  • Provider & Staff Leadership: Supervise administrative and clinical support staff, including hiring, performance management, and development; Partner with faculty providers to optimize schedules, productivity, and patient access; Address underperformance directly and constructively
  • Growth & Market Positioning: Develop and execute strategies to grow the patient base and expand services; Partner with school leadership on branding, outreach, and referral development; Position the Faculty Practice as a high-quality, patient-centered clinical destination
  • Patient Experience & Quality: Oversee all patient-facing operations, including financial consultations and service recovery; Ensure consistent, high-quality patient experience aligned with institutional standards; Maintain accountability for operational aspects of care quality and service delivery
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field
  • Progressive experience in healthcare or dental practice operations
  • 3+ years in a leadership role with staff supervision and operational accountability
  • Demonstrated experience managing budgets, revenue cycle, and clinic performance
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Master's degree in MBA, MHA or equivalent
  • Experience in a dental or multi-specialty clinical environment
  • Experience in an academic health setting
  • Strong track record of improving operational and financial performance
