The Dental Coordinator, Clinic Operations provides comprehensive administrative and operational support for graduate, predoctoral, and specialty dental clinics. The position serves as the primary administrative liaison for patients, students, residents, faculty, and staff while coordinating daily clinic operations, patient scheduling, provider schedules, clinical workflows, and business operations. Responsibilities may include support of school-wide clinical initiatives, specialty programs, multidisciplinary scheduling, cross-clinic coverage, workflow improvement projects, and other operational assignments based on departmental and organizational needs.
Requires High School diploma or GED .

Must possess excellent oral/written communication skills, courteous demeanor, attention to detail, flexibility, ability to work and communicate with people from a diverse population and the ability to work independently with little supervision and constant interruptions in an environment that can be stressful at times.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit or stand (for potentially prolonged periods of time); walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch; and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; ability to access/retrieve and transport patient records throughout the clinic is required. Oral and written communications with patients and students requires adequate speech, vision, and hearing. Proficiency in English is required. Proficiency in other languages may be required. Constant use of a telephone and computer terminal. Also requires adequate hand writing and manual dexterity skills.
