Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Surgical Care Unit in Naperville, IL. The role is full-time with 36 hours per week, primarily night shifts from 7:00pm to 7:30am, and rotating weekends/holidays. A BSN or higher is preferred with 1+ year of inpatient RN experience and IL RN licensure.

CPR certification is required. The hospital emphasizes patient-centered care and professional development.

Qualifications

• Requires 1+ years' of RN experience in an inpatient unit setting.
• Current State of Illinois RN licensure.
• Current CPR Certification issued by either American Heart Association or Basic Life Support.
• If ADN is the highest degree, must graduate with a BSN within five years of start date.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care in accordance with the Illinois Registered Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
• Employs critical thinking to assess and plan care, monitors progress, and records observations.
• Delegates appropriate patient care tasks to other staff.
• Functions as a team member to fulfill unit goals.
