Job summary

Southeast Orthopedic Specialists in St. Augustine, FL is seeking a Team Care Coordinator (Surgical) to support patients through the care path, document visits, and coordinate in-office procedures and scheduling.

The role requires strong organizational and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced clinical setting. Travel between clinics is possible; a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge preferred.
• Medical background or anatomy coursework; CMA or related college degree.
• Knowledge of community health services.

Responsibilities

• Document medical visits and accompany the provider to transcribe intake, history, procedures, physical examinations and plan.
• Assist with in-office procedures (aspirations, injections, suture removal).
• Complete disability forms/FMLA paperwork.
• Call in prescriptions and refills as authorized by the provider.
• Handle/triage all patient phone calls.
• Schedule patient appointments and procedures.
• Work with WC adjusters, home health agencies and nurse case managers.
• Manage the Physician’s and PA’s surgical and clinical schedules.
• Submit or Renew Physical therapy orders.
