Southeast Orthopedic Specialists is hiring a Team Care Coordinator (Surgical) for the SouthparkClinic in St. Augustine, FL. The role focuses on documenting patient visits, assisting with procedures, and managing schedules to ensure smooth surgical workflows.

You will interact closely with providers, coordinate between clinics, and handle phone triage, referrals and orders while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy in all patient records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Medical background or anatomy-related coursework is preferred.
• Certified Medical Assistant credentials are a plus.
• College degree in Anatomy/Healthcare is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Document medical visits thoroughly, including intake, history, procedures and plan as directed by the provider.
• Assist with in-office procedures such as aspirations, injections, and suture removal.
• Complete disability forms and FMLA paperwork.
• Call in prescriptions and refills as authorized by the provider.
• Handle and triage patient phone calls and schedule appointments and procedures.
• Coordinate with WC adjusters, home health agencies and nurse case managers.
• Manage the surgical and clinical schedules for physicians and PAs.
• Submit or renew physical therapy orders.
