Southeast Orthopedic Specialists, LLC is hiring a Team Care Coordinator/Lead Medical Scribe to serve as the central point of contact for patients, providers, and the healthcare team in Northeast Florida. You will guide patients through care, support providers with admin and clinical tasks, and document visits accurately.

The role emphasizes coordinating schedules, triage calls, and assisting with procedures, ensuring timely, coordinated care and a positive patient experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required; medical background preferred.
• CMA certification or healthcare/anatomy degree is a plus.
• Strong organizational, typing, and computer skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and maintain confidentiality.
• Typing speed of 40+ WPM.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between patients, providers, and the healthcare team.
• Guide patients through their healthcare journey and explain conditions and instructions.
• Support providers with administrative and clinical tasks.
• Document patient visits accurately.
• Assist with in-office procedures.
• Complete disability/FMLA paperwork and prescription management.
• Schedule appointments and triage patient calls.
• Coordinate with external partners and manage provider schedules.
• Submit/renew physical therapy orders.
