Job summary

Fortifi Group seeks a Surgical Application Specialist to deliver hands-on support for the Exsurco surgical product lines, including training clinicians and assisting in on-site cases. You’ll document training, troubleshoot issues, and provide feedback to multiple departments.

The role requires strong sterile technique knowledge, 80% travel, and experience in OR settings with a customer-focused mindset. Bachelor’s degree preferred and surgical certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, other surgical background with proper certification, a plus.
• Certification in a related medical/health field and at least two years in operating room/tissue processing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver support with all Surgical product lines as directed by Exsurco Sales team, manager, or business needs.
• Conduct product training sessions hands-on for hospital staff to ensure proper assembly, use, troubleshooting, and processing.
• Provide surgical training support to ensure proper use of products across departments.
• Conduct in-services for multiple hospital departments (Sterile Processing, OR staff, purchasing, etc.) and may require nights/weekends.
• On-site surgical case coverage in the OR as scheduled.
• Be reachable for troubleshooting via company phone.
• Provide feedback to Marketing, Service, Quality, Engineering, and Regulatory teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Utilize Service Department for field issues and maintain required reports and CRM updates.
• Coordinate travel and account coverage with manager.
• Report market input and changes to inform business.
