UCI Health is seeking a Registration/Scheduling professional to obtain authorizations, verify funding, and schedule patients for surgery. You will respond to inquiries and ensure accurate documentation in a fast-paced clinical setting.

The role requires experience in hospital registration, knowledge of medical terminology, and strong MS Office skills, with flexibility to travel to off-site practices. Join a leading academic health system serving Orange County.

Competenze

• Minimum one year recent experience registering patients in a hospital or clinic, or working as a Medical Assistant or in medical billing.
• General knowledge of ICD9 and CPT codes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Demonstrated experience using MS Office.

• Obtain necessary authorizations for procedures.
• Verify patient funding sources and schedule patients for surgery.
• Respond to patient inquiries and resolve issues.
