UCI Health is seeking a detail-oriented Registration Specialist to verify funding, obtain necessary authorizations, and schedule patients for surgery. You will interact with patients, answer inquiries, and ensure accurate data entry in the scheduling systems.

Qualified candidates have at least one year of hospital/clinic registration experience, strong medical terminology knowledge, and excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year recent experience registering patients in hospital or clinic or similar setting (medical assistant, medical billing).
• Solid understanding of medical terminology.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Obtain authorizations and verify patient funding for services.
