Job summary

You will respond to patient inquiries, schedule surgeries, and collaborate with the care team to resolve issues, while maintaining compliance with medical terminology and insurance requirements. Weekend/evening availability may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year recent experience registering patients in a hospital or clinic.
• Experience with computer registration and registration scheduling systems.
• General understanding of medical terminology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Ability to travel to off-site physician practices.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.
• Ability to interpret and understand various medical insurance plans and make accurate determinations regarding coverage.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
