Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 6 months healthcare revenue cycle experience or scheduling experience required.
• 6 months healthcare customer service or scheduling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule in all modalities within surgery scheduling systems.
• Monitor schedules and identify compression opportunities for OR teams.
• Coordinate with surgeons’ offices to fill open times.
• Maintain accuracy in scheduling and registration per Baptist Health Care standards.
• Coordinate with anesthesia, departments and vendors for complex services (Open Hearts, Total Joints, L&D).
• Enter accurate demographic and reimbursement information into the system.
