Job summary

Eisenhower Health seeks an experienced Surgery Scheduler to ensure precise and timely scheduling for the Vascular Clinic. You will coordinate with physicians, the surgical care team, and support staff to optimize case timing and resource use.

The role requires two years of hospital or clinic scheduling experience, high school diploma or GED (Bachelor’s degree preferred), and strong communication and data management skills. This on-site position offers full-time hours and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience in hospital or clinic scheduling and revenue-cycle processes preferred.
• Knowledge of CPT and ICD10 coding and insurance verification.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily surgery scheduling to meet physician blocks and times.
• Ensures accuracy of surgical data entered for cases and resources.
• Completes physician office requests and ensures timeliness.
• Monitors charge capture and revenue integrity for surgical services.
• Coordinates with Patient Financial Services to ensure timely charge entry.
• Performs audits of charge capture processes for month-end readiness.
• Produces ad hoc reports within 72 hours of request.
• Maintains compliance with codes, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
