Job summary

AdventHealth in Parker, Colorado is seeking a Scheduling Specialist to coordinate surgical schedules and manage facility paperwork. You will obtain scheduling, demographic, insurance, and clinical information to book, cancel, or reschedule events with minimal callbacks.

Required: 3+ years in healthcare, 1+ year of technical experience, and EHR scheduling experience; proficiency in English and MS Office; High School Diploma. BLS preferred; on-site role with day shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent requirement.
• 3+ years in a healthcare setting required.
• 1+ year of technical experience preferred.
• 1+ Electronic Health Record (EHR) scheduling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule surgeries and complete facility paperwork.
• Collect scheduling, demographic, insurance and clinical data.
• Coordinate add-on cases with physicians and offices.
• Maintain and coordinate the operative schedule with stakeholders.
