Responsibilities

• Pre-authorize surgeries with insurance and enter data into scheduling system.
• Maintain a surgical log for statistics.
• Provide pre-surgical packets with dates and instructions.
• Coordinate with facilities for any special equipment or personnel.
• Order and track pre-operative labs and ensure EHR documentation.
• Audit and adjust automated phone scheduling daily.
• Verify scheduling accuracy before publishing.
• Maintain professional relationships with staff and patients.
• Adhere to HIPAA and organizational policies.
