Job summary

U.S. Urology Partners is seeking a Patient Access Representative/Surgery Scheduler to welcome patients and manage front office operations. You will check in/out patients, answer phones, schedule appointments, document insurance and other data, and coordinate with care teams.

You will schedule surgeries, obtain precertifications, enter cases into the system, and maintain a precise, efficient schedule while protecting patient confidentiality and delivering exceptional service.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years in a medical office setting preferred.
• 2-3 years in a business office and supervisory experience.
• Experience with multi-line phones preferred.

Responsibilities

• Check patients in and out.
• Answer phones and schedule appointments.
• Document insurance info and patient data.
• Update patient files and appointment details.
• Coordinate with care staff and insurance for precertifications.
• Enter scheduled surgeries into the system and update as needed.
• Order surgical equipment when necessary.
