Responsibilities

• Accurately completes procedure case and documents per department protocol.
• Works collaboratively and communicates respectfully with other members of the surgical services team.
• Reviews insurance types and collaborates closley with medical insurance department for accurate coding and prior auths.
• Schedules pre surgery and post op visits as needed.
• Maintains attention to detail and proactively ensures accurate procedural schedules.
• Manages incoming and outgoing phone calls maintaining department service level and abandonment rates.
• Provides patient instructions verbally and/or in person per department protocol.
