Qualifications

• Two years of medical registration, billing, scheduling, or insurance experience.
• Two years of customer service experience.
• Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and calendaring programs.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage provider surgery/hospital procedure schedules and changes.
• Obtain authorization for surgeries and coordinate referrals.
• Propose iCentra requirements for pre-surgical FIN# and scheduling card creation.
• Coordinate equipment requests with hospital staff and surgical supply reps.
• Explain the process to patients, including pre-op tests and labs.
• Document processes in patient charts and investigate billing disputes.
