Baylor Scott & White Surgicare Southlake is seeking a Surgery Scheduler to maintain the daily surgery schedule and coordinate with doctors’ offices and operating room staff. Under the direction of the Business Office Manager, you’ll verify benefits, provide patient estimates, and resolve scheduling conflicts with strong communication and customer service.

The role emphasizes weekdays only, with no holidays, weekends, nights, or calls, and offers a supportive environment for professional growth

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• 1+ years of receptionist experience in healthcare.
• Experience in insurance verification/Scheduling.
• Must have the skills necessary to operate office equipment that are required to fulfill job duties.
• Medical terminology and computer experience beneficial.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily surgery schedule and all scheduling processes.
• Provide benefits verification and patient estimates; coordinate with doctors' offices and OR staff.
• Demonstrate leadership, communication and customer service to resolve scheduling conflicts efficiently.
