Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1-year previous scheduling experience.
• Medical terminology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain all information required for scheduling procedures for the Operating Room.
• Ensure practitioners scheduling procedures have approved privileges through privilege delineation lists.
• Post scheduled surgical cases on the OR log and scheduling board completely and accurately.
• Prepare daily surgical schedules and make them available for staff.
• Ensure maximum utilization of available Operating Room suites and staff.
