Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with hospital/outpatient scheduling experience.

Responsibilities

• Schedule all surgeries for main OR, outpatient center and off-site anesthesia.
• Maintain case durations and surgeon-specific time estimates.
• Avoid scheduling conflicts by coordinating fellows' and physicians' schedules.
• Verify demographics in HIS and print schedules.
• Enter anesthesia and nursing assignments in scheduling program.
• Notify leaders of equipment needs and vendor visits.
• Verify cases day before surgery.
