Job summary

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate surgical procedures in-house and at outpatient facilities.
• Obtain authorization for procedures and surgeries both in-house and at outpatient facilities.
• Inform staff when surgery is authorized and scheduled.
• Document all relevant information in patient charts after scheduling.
• Communicate changes in schedule or unauthorized procedures to physicians and supervisors.
• Travel between office locations as needed and maintain professional demeanor.
