Job summary

Surgery Partners Brand is seeking an OR Surgery Scheduler / Front Desk Representative for our Milwaukee DeNovo center. This role handles scheduling 30–50 cases daily and liaises with referring doctors’ offices as part of the front desk team.

Responsibilities include coordinating surgeries, pre-op documentation, and ensuring patient records and insurance verifications are complete. On-site, part-time position with opportunities to contribute to patient care and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years scheduling appointments and/or surgeries.
• Experience with insurance verification and business office functions.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and scheduling software.

Responsibilities

• Counsel patients and schedule surgeries for multiple physicians.
• Schedule surgeries and coordinate with primary care physicians for pre-op history and physicals.
• Maintain relationships with physician offices and their staff.
• Complete all paperwork for each procedure and pre-certify procedures.
• Provide back-up support for Front Office and multi-task as needed.
