You will handle insurance verification, collect balances due, and support a high-quality patient experience in a fast-paced ambulatory setting.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and organizational abilities for front desk duties.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and patient confidentiality requirements.
• Experience coordinating surgery scheduling and insurance verification.

Responsibilities

• Schedule surgical procedures and manage OR time requests.
• Collect balances due and document in billing system.
• Verify insurance and handle patient demographics in system.
• Answer phone lines and assist with check-in and forms.
• Coordinate with surgeons and OR staff for scheduling and changes.
• Prepare week-at-a-glance staffing reports and keep managers informed.
• Support QA/BDP programs and cross-train in related front desk areas.
