Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a full-time Practice Manager to support the General Surgery department. This 100% on-site role is based at Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, MA.

You will report to a Director of Practice Operations and work closely with Medical Directors and staff to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient office operations. The position covers staffing, budgeting, policy implementation, and collaboration across multiple sites or complex multi-specialty practices when

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; 3–5 years in a physician’s office is preferred.
• Knowledge of medical billing and medical terminology.
• Strong interpersonal and staff leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of physician, CNM and NP practices.
• Collaborate with directors to implement policies and goals.
• Manage staffing, onboarding, and performance evaluations.
• Monitor budgets and coordinate payroll and pay policies.
• Ensure compliant, efficient patient access and high-quality service.
• Coordinate with hospital leadership and vendors as needed.
