Qualifikationen

• Medical Assistant certification is preferred; if not, CPOE training with certification within 12 months of hire is required.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate and schedule surgeries and follow-up appointments for multiple providers; perform pre-operative and post-operative data entry; provide patients with information and education as needed.
• Arrange referrals to other providers and obtain prior authorization from insurance companies for procedures and studies; communicate with patients, providers, and insurers as needed.
• Provide support and training to office personnel and collaborate with Central Access to ensure timely authorization and information sharing.
