Job summary

Neighborhood Health Center of WNY, Inc. is seeking a Surgery Coordinator to coordinate surgeries for our OB-GYN and Podiatry departments and to serve as a welcoming first contact for patients at our Buffalo area offices.

You will work with insurance companies to obtain Prior Authorizations and ensure a patient-centered experience as plans for care are developed, with emphasis on calendar organization and detail-oriented problem solving.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-5 years of experience required.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.

• Teamwork; you are open to others’ unique perspectives, and will collaborate to meet shared goals
• Able to read, write and speak the English language. A second language of Spanish preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinating surgeries for our OB-GYN and Podiatry departments.
• Work with insurance companies to obtain Prior Authorizations (PA) for surgeries and procedures
• You will be based at either our Blasdell site, 4233 Lake Ave, Blasdell NY 14219 or our Riverway site, 1569 Niagara Street Buffalo NY 14213
