Job summary

Azul, a nationally recognized aesthetics brand, is hiring a Surgery Coordinator for its Ft. Myers location. The coordinator will manage surgical schedules, pre-operative requirements, and documentation, acting as a bridge between providers, patients, and facilities to ensure timely, compliant care.

The role demands exceptional organizational skills, professional communication, and a patient-centered approach. A background in cosmetic/medical scheduling and HIPAA familiarity is preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to manage pre-operative requirements and documentation.
• Experience with patient scheduling and pre-op coordination is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule all surgical cases for assigned provider.
• Provide pre-operative instructions to patients and handle documentation.
• Counsel patients on procedures and insurance aspects.
• Ensure all pre-surgical forms, clearances, and tests are complete.
• Coordinate with OR scheduling and facilities to optimize time slots.
• Complete surgical billing and collect deposits/payments.
• Follow up with patients post-surgery and manage rescheduling as needed.
• Maintain CRM data accuracy and ensure HIPAA compliance.
