Job summary

Azul Cosmetic Surgery and Medical Spa is seeking a dedicated front desk receptionist to deliver exceptional patient service in a fast-paced aesthetic setting. You will handle a multi-line phone system, greet patients, and manage scheduling while maintaining precise EHR records.

Preferred candidates have strong medical terminology knowledge, experience with Nextech, and a patient-centric approach, ensuring HIPAA compliance and collaborative teamwork across the center.

Qualifications

• 3 years of customer service experience preferred.
• 2 years of medical terminology experience preferred.
• 3 years of computer skills experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide concierge level service to patients.
• Manage a multi-line phone system.
• Check patients in/out and schedule follow-ups.
• Enter data and scan documents into the EHR.
• Confirm appointments and reschedule missed/cancelled visits.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Providing a concierge level of service - making each encounter with our patients amazing.
• Managing a multi-line phone system.
• Checking patients in/out.
• Data entry and scanning documents into the electronic health record.
• Confirming appointments, following up on missed/cancelled appointments to reschedule patients.

Essential skills and abilities:

• Outstanding telephone etiquette and communication skills.
• Substantial knowledge of general medical terminology. Plastic surgery and Med-Spa terminology a plus!
• Electronic health record experience (Nextech experience a plus)
• Strong computer and organizational skills.
• Ability to work as a team member.
• Well-organized with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Treat patients and co-workers with respect.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality at all times.
• Empathetic with patient’s needs and concerns.
• Highly dependable.
