Job summary

Southwest Breast & Aesthetics is seeking a dedicated Surgery Scheduler in Phoenix, AZ to coordinate surgical procedures from consultation to post-op care. The role requires strong communication, meticulous scheduling, and teamwork within a fast-paced medical setting.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in medical scheduling (preferably surgery), experience in plastic surgery or related fields, and proficiency with EMR systems.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of medical scheduling experience preferred (surgery scheduling strongly preferred).
• Experience in plastic surgery or surgical specialties is a plus.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and patient service skills.
• Familiarity with EMR systems and medical office workflows.
• Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Schedule surgical procedures with hospitals and surgery centers.
• Coordinate surgery dates, pre-operative appointments, and post-operative visits.
• Communicate surgery details and instructions clearly with patients.
• Obtain and verify insurance information when applicable.
• Coordinate with surgeons, clinical staff, and surgical facilities.
• Prepare and maintain accurate patient scheduling records in EMR systems.
• Ensure all required documentation is completed prior to surgery.
• Provide exceptional customer service and patient support.
