Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital in Atlanta, GA seeks a Surgical Tech to assist physicians during surgery in the OR across multiple specialties. Responsibilities include technical tasks and patient care under RN direction and serving as a clinical resource within the department.

The role requires a Surgical Technology program graduate or LPN, 3 years of experience with certification, and BCLS/CST at minimum; GA LPN licensure may be required. Sign-on bonus available.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of a Surgical Technology Program or LPN program required.
• 3 years of experience and Surgical Tech Certification required, or 7 years experience with certification for a total of 10 years.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required.
• LPN - GA Licensure Upon Hire Required (if applicable).
• CST - Certified Surgical Technologist Upon Hire Required.

Responsibilities

• Assist physician during surgery in the OR across multiple specialties.

Work Experience

• 3 years of expereince and Surgical Tech Certification Required or
• In lieu of degree 7 years of experience can be substituted for certification for a total requirement of 10 years of Surgical Tech experience. Required

Licenses and Certifications
