Job summary

Surface Experts is seeking a reliable hands-on Repair Technician in the Mid-Cities area. You will repair surfaces such as Floors, Countertops, Bathtubs, Cabinets, and more, typically in under an hour, while delivering world-class customer service to tenants and property management staff.

We offer a pay range of $18–$22 per hour with base pay plus performance bonuses, paid training, a company vehicle during work hours, uniforms, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Experience working with your hands in related fields such as construction, manufacturing, painting, home repairs, or hobbies.
• Ability to identify, compare, and recreate colors; color matching is a large part of the role.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Display world-class customer service for tenants and property management staff.
• Track work progress and notes in our dispatch tool.
• Communicate with the support team with questions.
• Understand and utilize our unique 5-step repair process.
• Employ each tool in your custom toolkit.
• Problem-solve repairs with creativity.

We are looking for a reliable, hands-on technician who is organized, responsible, works well independently, takes pride in delivering high-quality work, and represents the company well with customers while working on repairs that typically take less than an hour.

Requirements

• Experience working with your hands - this could be in construction, manufacturing, painting, home repairs, or even a personal hobby.
