Job summary

Surface Experts is hiring a Technician in Wichita to repair surfaces such as floors, countertops, bathtubs, cabinets, appliances and more. You will use your hands to diagnose and fix issues, deliver world-class customer service, and follow our 5-step repair process.

The role offers a pay range of $19–$25 per hour with bonuses, a company vehicle for daily route, paid holidays, and training. No weekends, late nights, or evenings; advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience working with your hands in construction, manufacturing, painting, or related hobbies.
• Ability to identify, compare, and recreate colors and match colors.
• Must have reliable transportation, driver's license, and clean driving record.

• Display world-class customer service for tenants and property management staff.
• Track work progress and notes in our dispatch tool.
• Communicate with the support team with questions.
• Understand and utilize our unique 5-step repair process.
• Employ each tool in your custom tool-kit.

We Offer:

• Pay range of $19 to $25 per hour includes base pay and performance-based bonuses
• Monthly bonus program depending on production
• Pay raise following paid training completion
• Direct four-week track to Surface Repair Technician
• No weekends, late nights, or evenings (overtime is available)

Requirements

• Experience working with your hands - This could be in construction, manufacturing, painting, or even a personal hobby
• An ability to identify, compare, and recreate colors - Understanding color and how to match color is a large part of what we do
• Must have reliable transportation, driver's license and clean diving record
