Job summary

Surface Experts is seeking a reliable, hands-on Repair Technician for the Mid-Cities area in Texas. Repairs typically take under an hour, with a focus on delivering high-quality work and professional customer interactions.

We offer a pay range of 18–22 USD per hour, plus bonuses, with no weekends or late shifts. Benefits include a company vehicle during work hours, uniforms, paid holidays and PTO, and a phone stipend.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in construction, manufacturing, painting, home repairs, or related hobbies.
• Ability to identify, compare, and recreate colors and match colors accurately.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide world-class customer service for tenants and property management staff.
• Track work progress and notes in the dispatch tool.
• Communicate with the support team with questions.
• Understand and apply the company’s 5-step repair process.
• Use each tool in your toolkit to complete repairs.

We are looking for a reliable, hands-on technician who is organized, responsible, works well independently, takes pride in delivering high-quality work, and represents the company well with customers while working on repairs that typically take less than an hour.

Requirements:

• Experience working with your hands – this could be in construction, manufacturing, painting, home repairs, or even a personal hobby.
• Ability to identify, compare, and recreate colors – understanding color and how to match color is a large part of what we do
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Hiring Process
