Job summary

Sompo International in Mount Juliet, TN seeks an Underwriting Assistant for the Surety unit to handle day-to-day processing, data entry, and support for underwriters and agencies.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Process Surety business through data entry and underwriting support with accurate work.
• Develop relationships with underwriters and agencies, serving as first contact for inquiries.
• Maintain relationships with agencies and clients to ensure service quality.
• Show knowledge of filed rates, minimum premium, rater and assist with line cards.
• Manage internal reports: monthly renewals, status reports, data cleanup, and submissions.
• Provide support to Surety UW Center team and other account management activities.
