Entergy's Mississippi operations is seeking a Power Plant Operations Supervisor to direct a cross-functional team at a combined cycle gas turbine plant. You will oversee start-up responses and dispatch requests, and assign operations and maintenance work on shift.
The role requires leadership, strong communication, and 5+ years in power plant operations/maintenance, with preferred experience in CCGT, I&C, DCS, and Unit Control Board.
Directs and supervises a team of operations/maintenance personnel in a cross-functional multi-craft, multi-skilled plant environment at a combined cycle gas turbine (CCGT) power plant. The position’s primary responsibility is plant operations and responsiveness to start-up and dispatch requests as well as assigning and directing operations/maintenance work on shift.

As a provider of essential services, Entergy expects employees to be available to work additional hours, alternate locations, or perform additional duties in connection with storms, outages, emergencies, or other situations as deemed necessary by the company. Exempt employees may not be paid overtime associated with such duties.
This position is designated as a Safety Sensitive position and is subject to mandatory pre‑employment and random drug testing.
Primary Location: Mississippi – Jackson. Travel: Up to 25%. No relocation offered.
