Entergy Corporation is seeking an Operations Supervisor at the Holly Ridge plant in Louisiana. This role involves supervising a multi-skilled team in a fast-paced plant environment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and overseeing operational efficiency during shifts.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience in power plant operations/maintenance, excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, and a high school diploma or GED. This position requires working onsite and offers no relocation options.
Directs and supervises a team of operations/maintenance personnel in a cross‑functional multi‑craft, multi‑skilled plant environment at a combined cycle gas turbine (CCGT) power plant. The position's primary responsibility is plant operations and responsiveness to start‑up and dispatch requests as well as assign and direct operations/maintenance work on shift.
As a provider of essential services, Entergy expects employees to be available to work additional hours, to work in alternate locations, and/or to perform additional duties in connection with storms, outages, emergencies, or other situations as deemed necessary by the company. Exempt employees may not be paid overtime associated with such duties.
