Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a field service technician to perform maintenance, repairs and installation on portable fire extinguishers, kitchen hood systems and suppression gas systems at client sites.

You will read schematics, assist with installations and manage daily service calls while ensuring customer satisfaction. The role requires strong communication, organizational skills and a valid US driver’s license, with on-call emergency support and a focus on safety and compliance.

Competenze

• Minimum 3 years of field service or related experience.
• Strong communication and customer-facing abilities are essential.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• PC skills include MS Windows, Excel, Word and Outlook; valid driver’s license required.

Mansioni

What you will do

Perform service and repairs on Portable Fire Extinguishers, Kitchen Hood Systems & Suppression Gas Systems in addition to other related building system products at customer sites. Service, troubleshoot and install many different manufacturers including Simplex and ANSUL. Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems programs,schematics,and operational product manuals. Manage daily service call, customer activity and program system products. You will work with clean agent systems, dry chemical systems, and special hazards.

How you will do it

• Assist customers with all questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Participation in an on-call rotation for Emergency Service.
• Performs inspections of Suppression Gas Systems based on contract requirements.
• Inspect customer systems
• Use of Smart Phone and Equipment
• May include government work

HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $24-32 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.). This position includes a competitive benefits package. The posted salary range reflects the target compensation for this role.
