Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to service portable fire extinguishers, kitchen hood systems and suppression gas systems at customer sites in the Atlanta metro area.

Read blueprints, diagrams and manuals to install, troubleshoot and repair equipment to meet contract requirements. You will manage daily service calls, assist customers with questions, and participate in on-call rotations for emergency service, delivering safe, reliable system performance and outstanding

What you will do

Perform service and repairs on Portable Fire Extinguishers, Kitchen Hood Systems & Suppression Gas Systems in addition to other related building system products at customer sites. Service, troubleshoot and install many different manufacturers including Simplex and ANSUL. Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems programs, schematics and operational product manuals. Manage daily service call, customer activity and program system products.

How you will do it

• Assist customers with all questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Participation in an on-call rotation for Emergency Service.
• Performs inspections of Suppression Gas Systems based on contract requirement

HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $23-31 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience,knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with marketdata.)
