Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Suppression Service Technician for Morenci, AZ to service portable fire extinguishers, kitchen hood systems and suppression gas systems at customer sites. The role requires reading diagrams and working with various manufacturers, with on-call rotations for emergencies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in suppression service or related field.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• PC skills including Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Valid US driver’s license.
• Any Manufacturer certifications (ANSUL, Kiddie PyroChem) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform service and repairs on Portable Fire Extinguishers, Kitchen Hood Systems & Suppression Gas Systems at customer sites.
• Service, troubleshoot and install systems from multiple manufacturers including Simplex and ANSUL.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems programs, schematics, and manuals.
• Manage daily service calls, customer activity and program system products.
• Work with clean agent systems, dry chemical systems, and special hazards.
• Assist customers with questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
