LabCorp is seeking a Support Services Team Leader to join our team in LOCATION. In this position, you will work in a fast paced, customer focused, and challenging environment, and will be a part of our overall mission at LabCorp: "Improving Health, Improving Lives".

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 6:30 AM to 3 PM

Work Location: 4200 NW 29th Ave Hollywood, FL

Casual, PRN & Part Time employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours are eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan only.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Assist in the supervision of the day to day operations of the Department Name department
2. Help lead the team in their daily processes and procedures
3. Assist with preparation of laboratory specimens for analysis and testing
4. Oversee routing of specimens to their respective prep areas
5. Encourage process improvements and best practices
6. Perform quality assurance checks to ensure efficiency and accuracy
7. Resolve any production errors as requested by management
8. Research and resolve any production errors while escalating when necessary
9. Engage in continuous process and service level improvements
10. Responsible for enforcing and managing policies and procedures
11. Perform administrative duties as needed

Job Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. Associate's degree or higher is a plus
3. 3 years of relevant experience; preferably in a clinical laboratory
4. Prior leadership experience is a plus
5. Familiarity with laboratory operations as well as policies and procedures is preferred
6. Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office
7. Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal
8. High level of attention to detail with strong organizational and prioritization skills
9. Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to make decisions in a fast paced environment
10. Ability to handle the physical requirements of the position
