Job summary

Five Below is seeking an hourly Store Manager in Texas to lead crew members in delivering WOW customer service and ensuring fast, friendly check-out experiences. You will oversee daily store operations, training, stock handling, and merchandising, with responsibility for opening/closing, cash security, and maintaining standards.

Ideal candidates have 1+ years of management experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ensures all crew members wow the customer through personal contact with customers.
• Trains the crew on the BEST customer service experience; ensuring a fast, friendly check-out.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and ensure they perform duties well.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for fast placement on the floor.
• Act as Manager on Duty when needed, responsible for store operations and staff management.
• Open or close the store as needed, including securing cash and setting alarms.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies and procedures.
• Drive store sales and control expenses through merchandising and service.
• Collaborate with store leadership in merchandising procedures and World Recovery.
• Perform store maintenance and housekeeping tasks.
