Job summary

Five Below is seeking a capable store leadership professional in Fountain Valley to WOW customers and lead crew members. You will train employees, manage daily store activities, and ensure fast, friendly checkout while handling stock and opening/closing duties.

The role emphasizes strong communication, multi-tasking, and composure under pressure, with a starting hourly wage and flexible shifts to fit business needs.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all crew members are WOWing the Customer through personal contact with customers.
• Trains the crew on the BEST customer service experience; ensuring fast, friendly checkout.
• Oversees daily activities of store associates; ensures duties are performed effectively and provides excellent customer service.
• Assists with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for quick placement on the sales floor.
• Acts as Manager on Duty when needed, taking responsibility for store operations and staff management.
• Opens or closes the store, secures cash, locks doors, and sets alarms for a smooth daily operation.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies and product knowledge.
