Your Role and Impact

The Support Counselor II (SCII) implements components of approved plans by working directly with youth and their caregivers. Responsibilities include providing interventions, role modeling, submitting contact notes, and collaborating with the team to support youth development and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet with youth and caregivers as required by the program.
• Implement and monitor interventions, providing feedback to the team.
• Transfer skills to caregivers and support youth participation in activities.
• Conduct therapeutic sessions and attend team meetings.
• Maintain professional relationships and confidentiality.
• Complete administrative tasks accurately and timely.

Qualifications

• BA or BS degree in Psychology, Social Work, Nursing, or related field, or 45 semester units with at least 30 in relevant social sciences, or 2 years of mental health experience.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.
