Job summary

Atkore is seeking a Supply Planner II to forecast and plan across the Harvey, IL area and adjacent plants, ensuring production schedules align with demand and inventory targets. You will leverage ERP data, collaborate with sales and customer service, and drive continuous improvements.

The role emphasizes strong analytical skills, experience with SIOP, and proficiency in ERP tools (JDE/SAP) and Excel VBA to support accurate forecasts and efficient material planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in SIOP or supply chain in manufacturing preferred.
• Experience with process improvements or end-to-end value chain analysis.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly SIOP forecast consensus and drive improvements to forecast accuracy.
• Develop and deliver accurate monthly production schedules for plant management.
• Supply production forecasts to supply chain teams to align raw material deliveries with schedules.
• Track delivery metrics to maintain strong customer service.
• Manage inventory to achieve working capital goals and reduce excess stock.
• Collaborate with customer service and sales for large project-based orders.
• Identify lean improvements to current tools and processes.
• Create standard work documents for procedures.
