Job summary

The Hillman Group is seeking a Demand Planner II to own the customer forecast in the planning system and partner with the S&OP team to implement new product launches on time. This role analyzes POS data and sales trends to optimize purchasing, maintain fill rate, and meet KPI targets across assigned channels and segments.

Responsibilities include aligning demand with sales forecasts, supporting Tier 1 team training, and leading initiatives with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in related field preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in related roles.
• Understanding financial systems and key drivers in manufacturing/sourcing.
• Supply chain experience in retail distribution preferred.
• Experience with complex logistics planning, transportation and forecasting.
• APICS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the customer forecast in the planning system to drive fill rate and inventory goals.
• Collaborate with S&OP on launches to ensure on-time delivery.
• Analyze demand forecasts and align with sales forecasts to minimize variance.
• Monitor sales trends, service metrics and inventory to meet KPIs.
• Lead projects for customer or product initiatives as needed.
• Provide training and support for Tier 1 team members.
• Support monthly S&OP Demand Workshops and communicate status to the organization.
• Travel domestically as needed.
