Job summary

The South Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) seeks a dedicated Supply Manager I to plan, coordinate, and administer inventory and supply operations across DJJ facilities. You will ensure efficient procurement, tracking, storage, and accountability of supplies while complying with state regulations and agency policies.

Responsibilities include maintaining stock levels, processing requisitions, and liaising with vendors and leadership.

Qualifications

• Requires working knowledge of supply practices and procedures.
• Knowledge of inventory control practices and procedures.
• Knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures applicable to Inventory Management.
• Must know Windows Software, Adobe, and SCEIS.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Valid SC driver's license and ability to pass Defensive Driver's training test.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and manages inventory, warehouse, and supply operations for assigned facilities.
• Maintains adequate stock levels to support daily operations; receives, stores, distributes, and tracks supplies, uniforms, equipment, and other inventory items.
• Monitors inventory usage patterns, establishes reorder points, conducts physical inventories, and ensures accuracy with perpetual inventory systems.
• Ensures compliance with agency requirements, inventory control, and tool and supply management requirements.
• Processes procurement and inventory docs, reconciles transactions, and handles Goods Issues and Goods Receipts in SCEIS.
