Job summary

The South Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) is seeking a Supply Manager I to plan, coordinate, and administer inventory, warehouse, procurement, and supply management operations across DJJ facilities.

Under the supervision of the Materials Manager, you will maintain stock levels, ensure compliance with state procurement rules, and liaise with staff, vendors, and leadership to improve efficiency while supporting safe, effective operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and work experience related to inventory/supply management.
• Knowledge of inventory control processes and supply practices.
• Familiarity with Windows software, Adobe, and SCEIS is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage inventory, warehouse, and supply operations for assigned facilities.
• Maintain stock levels and track supplies, equipment, and uniforms.
• Ensure inventory accuracy with perpetual inventory systems and best practices.
• Process procurement docs, Goods Issues/Receipts, and audit-compliant records.
• Prepare requisitions, shopping carts, and inventory reports.
• Serve as liaison between staff, vendors, and leadership on supply matters.
• Promote continuous improvement of inventory and supply management operations.
