Job summary

JCPenney is seeking a Supply Chain Supervisor in Forest Park, GA to support the Operations Manager with day-to-day leadership in the assigned functional area. You will drive productivity, accuracy, and performance, coaching 10 to 40 team members and ensuring alignment with customer service objectives.

Responsibilities include analyzing procedures to propose improvements, maintaining safety and quality standards, keeping production and labor records, and ensuring equipment is well maintained.

Qualifications

• Six months hands on management experience preferred.
• Strong leadership abilities are preferred.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills a must.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Excel and typing skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on leadership, directing and leading team members to meet customer service and department objectives.
• Coach 10 to 40 team members in an assigned area.
• Resolves problems and opportunities in the assigned function.
• Monitor activities, escalate out-of-scope issues to the appropriate level.
• Analyze procedures and processes to suggest improvements in the area.
• Ensure safety and maintain acceptable standards.
• Maintain production and accuracy records, labor hours and carryover reports.
