Job summary

ABB is seeking a qualified planner for onsite support in Lancaster, TX. The role focuses on maintaining ideal inventory levels, supporting fulfillment processes, and delivering data-driven improvements to on-time delivery and lead times.

The candidate will analyze DIH, forecast accuracy, and resource utilization; collaborate with cross-functional teams to address root causes and implement optimization initiatives. This position requires SAP/ERP proficiency and US work authorization.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Business Administration or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience or an Associate's Degree/HS Diploma with 8+ years of relevant experience.
3+ years of scheduling/planning experience; SAP or ERP systems experience preferred.
Candidates must have work authorization to work in the US.

Responsibilities

Maintain inventory levels and optimize them to target levels while preserving high service levels.
Support and maintain inventory management for finished, semi-finished, or raw materials per guidelines.
Conduct detailed analyses of planning/fulfillment metrics (DIH, on-time delivery, lead time, forecast accuracy).
Identify root causes of non-performance and drive cross-functional improvement initiatives.
