Job summary

ABB is seeking an experienced Inventory Planner in Richmond, VA to own end-to-end planning of inventory, from requisition to customer invoicing. You will support internal customer service inquiries and set inventory parameters to ensure material availability per the manufacturing plan.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field with at least 5 years in material planning/purchasing or supply chain, plus SAP MM/PP experience and strong data analysis skills using Power

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering, supply chain, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in material planning, purchasing, or supply chain.
• Experience in SAP MM/PP.
• Proficiency in Power Query, Power BI and data analysis.
• Experience in Inventory Management & Control.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end planning of inventory from purchase requisition to customer invoice.
• Support internal customer service inquiries.
• Set inventory parameters (safety stock, reorder point, lot size, lead time) and ensure replenishment through purchase orders.
• Collaborate with buyers to optimize supplier performance.
• Define inventory policies based on segmentation.
